_Bride of Chucky_ was the true turning point for the franchise, and though they hadn't 100% embraced comedy at this point like they did in the followup, there's still at least as much humour and reference in this one as there is elements of "horror". My favorite out of the series. Not only is this funny but they take turns trying to show each other up in there killings. Really love this movie.
