I, Robot (2004), holding it's own in the genre pantheon? I, Robot has a fan base that I'm glad to say has kept this film from drifting down into the depths of bad blockbuster sci-fi ratingville. I remember upon the film's release how so many people were wary of if Will Smith could carry the film? Will Smith does paranoid and grumpy, and he does it very well. But then he does pretty much every role he plays very well. A vision of the future we're all expecting to happen, and the only nice people are robots.

Will Smith is entertaining, though his character's robot-hating trait is a bit over the top. The script has so...

78/100 In the year 2035, robots are a part of society. A detective, with a huge mistrust of robots, is called to the apparent suicide of a robotic scientist. His investigation may prove his mistrust is not without reason. Very well made and exciting high tech sci fi with great action (the robotic attack in the tunnel is awesome), super likable characters (including a robot named Sonny), a well ...
