'Pitch Perfect 2' was not as good as first. The musical numbers were not as memorable as the first. It simply wasn't as funny as the first. Anna Kendrick showed that she was a good singer though but the film lacked any real story. ★★

Improves towards the end, but for the most part <em>'Pitch Perfect 2'</em> is a disappointing sequel. I wouldn't say it's anything bad, but even soon after viewing I am struggling to remember any good moments from it. Weakest of the trilogy? I still have to rewatch PP3 to be completely sure but, compared to the first one, the delusions of grandeur of Pitch Perfect 2 weighs it down.
