As punishment for drunken, rebellious behavior, a young white soldier is thrown into a stockade populated entirely by black inmates. But instead of falling victim to racial hatred, the soldier joins forces with his fellow prisoners and rises up against the insanely tyrannical and bigoted prison warden.

It's not a great film, and that is really because of ambiguous vagueness that prevails throughout. However it is well acted, and the characters seem real and relatable, and that makes of an over-all enjoyable experience. The fact is, the film entertains despite its flaws, and you won't regret watching it. It's a great rainy day film with just enough head on it to be more than mindless entert...
