This is a flat out great movie. I first watched it several years ago and enjoyed it, so recently I noticed it on the IMDB streaming service and decided to watch it again. I still think it is great. I guess I had forgotten that it was a Spielberg film, so why wouldn’t it be great? With so many good actors in this film I was really expecting so much more. And with amazing films like "Mandela And De Klerk" and "Darkest Hour" it is possible to do political movies on historical figures well as a movie and make them interesting. But this movie just failed misserably and it's not that President Lincoln didn't have an intersting life story, "Touched By An Angel" did a very moving ...
